Now hiring: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Polk County, Iowa. You will work in a natural stone fabrication unit. Day to day you will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers. You should have: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs 2+ years on the tools preferred.
