Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Iowa County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Full-time with occasional weekends.
