Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
