Rebar fixer wanted in Okanogan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Okanogan County, Washington. You will work at a high-rise construction project. The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
