Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Magumeri, Borno State. You will be based at a stone quarry. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Your main tasks: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦900 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
