Immediate opening: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Tazewell County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer What we are looking for: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Full-time, day shift.
