Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Catawba County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
