Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
