Concrete placer — Knox County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Knox County, Missouri. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule.
