Sheet metal press operator • Fall River County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Fall River County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy press shop. Day to day you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
