Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Eilean Siar, Scotland. You will work on a high-rise façade. You will fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
