Precision welder • McCone County, Montana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in McCone County, Montana. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
