Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Daviess County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
