Now hiring: conventional mill operator (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Otero County, New Mexico. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
