Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Calhoun County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
