Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Lancaster County, Virginia. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer 2+ years on the tools preferred.
