Urgent requirement: TIG welder (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Deschutes County, Oregon. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
