Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On a typical shift you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; set up and start the machine as per the job card.
