Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Custer County, Idaho. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
