Urgent requirement: finish carpenter (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Fayette County, Iowa. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
