Sand plant operator — Gombi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gombi, Adamawa State. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Overtime paid at a premium rate.
