Escalator technician wanted in Gibson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Gibson County, Indiana. The job is on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
