Lift mechanic — Choctaw County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Choctaw County, Mississippi. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
