Port container crane operator — Shetland Islands

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. The role involves fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
