Foundry operative wanted in Bergen County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Bergen County, New Jersey. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 2+ years on the tools preferred.
