You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; service split AC units and VRF systems; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; fault-find control boards and defrost timers.
