Elevator repair technician wanted in Cherokee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
