Excavator operator wanted in Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Cherokee County, Kansas. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
