Production operative • Petersburg Borough, Alaska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production operative in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. The job is on the shop floor of a garment factory. The role involves weigh, measure and label raw materials before each batch; stack finished cartons onto pallets and shrink-wrap them; load and unload materials onto the conveyor belt; keep the workstation clean and follow 5S housekeeping; apply batch codes and date stamps to the packaging; report machine faults and stoppages to the line supervisor. What we are looking for: • Experience on a manufacturing or assembly line • Minimum matric / 10th pass preferred • Able to stand for a full 8 to 12 hour shift Six days a week, one day off.
