The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Full-time with occasional weekends.
