Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Barbour County, Alabama. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
