Bodywork technician • Chippewa County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will work in an insurance-approved repair centre. Day to day you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
