Metal caster — Boluwaduro

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Boluwaduro, Osun State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Pay around ₦850 per hour, based on your experience.
