Machinist wanted in Houston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Houston County, Tennessee. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
