Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Ashland County, Ohio. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
