Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Randolph County, Missouri. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
