Gas appliance installer wanted in Decatur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Decatur County, Indiana. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. You will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 2+ years on the tools preferred.
