Now hiring: tree and shrub pruner (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will work in a residential garden complex. On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
