Join our team: we are hiring a sausage maker in Jefferson County, Arkansas. The role involves: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 4+ years on the tools preferred.
