Requirements: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner Day-to-day duties: • Repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits • Replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms 1+ years on the tools preferred.
