Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Day-to-day duties: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
