Scaffolding charge hand — Knowsley

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Knowsley, England. The role involves tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience.
