Urgent requirement: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Telfair County, Georgia. The job is at a busy distribution depot. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel You will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
