Elevator repair technician — Northwest Hills Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
