Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Carver County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
