Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Linn County, Kansas. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine You will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame.
