Urgent requirement: gas installation technician (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Pickett County, Tennessee. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 3+ years on the tools preferred.
