Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Harney County, Oregon. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
