Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Part-time with flexible hours.
