Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. Ideal candidate: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools The role involves: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
